A Bit More About This Property

LOCATION: Kingston House is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Bend - the Westside! It is walking distance to some of Bend's hottest spots - 10 Barrel Brewing, Victorian Cafe, Newport Market, and Chow (just to name a few!). It is only 0.6 miles to Deschutes River - a 10 minute walk. Downtown Bend is just one mile away!

 

HOUSES: The main house is a 1,778 sqft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a new chef's kitchen in an open concept layout with soaring ceilings. There is a primary bedroom on the 1st floor with a king bed and large walk in closet. The bathroom on the 1st floor is spacious and includes a huge bathtub. This is the only bathroom downstairs. Upstairs, there is an office loft outfitted with a desk and chair. The two bedrooms upstairs share a full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The guest house is a 910sqft large second living area with a bar/kitchenette, living room, shuffleboard table, private bedroom with a queen bed, a nook with a bunk bed (twin over full), and a HALF bath (toilet/sink only).

 

AMENITIES: Our goal is to make Kingston House very clean and comfortable during your stay. We selected top of the line mattresses for each bed (such as Tuft & Needle and Aveline) with luxurious soft linens. The main kitchen is fully-stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, serveware, utensils, and small appliances. The bathrooms have plenty of towels, soaps, and hair dryers. There is free wi-fi with high speed 1G service. There are two TV's on the property, both outfitted with Roku remotes for ease of use and access to your favorite apps.

 

OUTDOOR: A new salt water hot tub was added in 2025. This 6-8 person tub is professionally cleaned and maintained before each stay. The yard is beautifully landscaped and fully fenced to keep your kids and pets safe. Enjoy the cafe lights over the back patio and a large natural gas BBQ for summer night cookouts.

 

Guests have the entire place to themselves and may access all areas on the property except the locked housekeeping closet in the primary master bath.

 

We are available 24/7 all days of the week for any guest needs

 

Walkable, relatively flat neighborhood among tall old-growth pine trees. Steps away from local parks, dining, and shops!

 

Easy walkable neighborhood. Free off street parking for guest use on front and back parking pads. No garage.

 

Completion of a Rental Agreement, including guest verification, is required for all bookings before check-in instructions are released.

Having two homes was perfect for our family. Since we had 2 young grandsons that had different nap schedules it was nice to have the back house as a quiet area for naps. The yard was great, since it was fenced in so it worked great for the kids to play and a good area to relax for the adults. The home is also only a short walking distance to several fun parks. We would recommend this home for families with kids.

Everything was exactly how it looked in the photos and was a short Airbnb ride to downtown. Some things were even walkable. Host was very responsive and got back to us within 5-10 minutes every time. This was a golf trip and the location put us very close to Tetherow and Rivers edge for a very good price. Would definitely stay here again.

Came down to Bend to ski Mt Bachelor and run the Bend 10K. I'm glad we got a place in Bend instead of Sunriver becuase this spot was surrounded by a ton of good restaurants and breweries. The house came with bikes which was nice for my friends to use and bike around town with. The house was clean and modern and we all enjoyed soaking in the salt hot tub. Overall a very pleasant stay and memorable weekend!

We loved our stay at Meg’s. Our family from different states celebrated Christmas in Bend. The main home is beautiful and the extra house was perfect for one of the families. The Kingston house is luxury Bend in a premium, centralized location and extremely pet friendly to boot. This rental is consists of a main house and a smaller ADU type add-on house. The add-on is actually quite nice and has it's own small kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The whole property is great for larger groups. As far as amenities, the hot tub was immaculate, the kitchen had all high-end appliances and the beds were extremely comfortable. The area is relatively quiet although close to a busier cross street. As mentioned earlier, it is walkable to *EVERYTHING* in Bend and even has 4 bikes. Would definitely re-rent this place - Meg was an outstanding host and responded quickly to my questions.

The property was exactly as described / pictured and the layout was perfect for our family of 5 (the house out back bonus space for games with the kids and quick work calls we needed to knock out in the morning). The location was easy to find and central to everything we wanted to do. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and the local Safeway grocery store just down the street. We floated the river, toured Deschutes Brewery, caught the Lumineers at Hayden Amphitheater, horseback riding at Bresada Ranch, ATV-ed with Octane in Sisters, checked out restaurants and bars in town. The location was great for this all, and I’m so happy we decided to stay in town. Most of all our hosts were proactive and responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay and highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

We have been coming to Bend in the Summer for years with family friends. Meg's house has been the best place we've stayed so far. The location is ideal, on a quiet street just blocks from the River. We rode our bikes to downtown, to the market, to restaurants, to coffee, and just about everywhere. The home is beautiful with a nice front porch under mature trees. The space is clean, modern, and has every amenity you can think of. We had 4 teenage boys with us and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone. We grilled each night and enjoyed the backyard playing cornhole or hot tubbing. The back house was an huge bonus for the boys as they got to retreat and hang out together. Meg provided bikes for us and was so helpful in making our stay fabulous. The local guide she provided was amazing and came in handy. Meg was quick to respond and provided easy check in and check out. We will for sure be booking again!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Kingston House. It was very clean and comfortable. It is a beautiful space, large enough for family gatherings and meals. The main house and guest house were well organized and arranged. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of useful items for cooking great family meals. The mattresses and linens were very comfortable. The guesthouse, hot tub and outdoor space were great areas for relaxing. The location was perfect, easily walkable. Thank you for hosting a lovely space for our family to gather.

We were only in Bend for on night to drop off some friends on the way from PDX to Nor Cal and meet up with Bend friends. Super great spot. Really easy to find, get in. Super nice and new. Lots of space. Close to food, but really quiet. Meg was great.

Fantastic home for large groups. Our grown kids were able to hang out and play games in the guest house. while us old people relaxed in the main home. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was very very clean. Dog friendly, a big plus.

Our family met in Bend for Christmas! We loved that a tree was set up to add to our holiday. The stove and kitchen worked well for our family. We could bring our dog, and we were close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would recommend this place for those who want a "true" Bend feel, on the west side!

We booked Meg’s place for Labor Day weekend 2024. The house was perfect for the 7 adults and 1 baby that we had with us. It is in such a good location. So many places within a 10 min walk or a 2 min drive. The house was the most well stocked Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had every thing you would need and there was all the baby stuff we needed there too. The living spaces were very cozy and we loved the backyard and the front patio. Meg was very responsive and so nice. We are very thankful she let us stay here. A trip we won’t forget!

Kingston house has a lot to offer- the fully up to date guesthouse in the back is awesome! The location is easily walkable, the house is spacious and clean, and offers multiple options for work/play. There is construction going on next door, but it is going to be less noisy soon, as it looks like they are almost done with the exterior work.

We really enjoyed our stay at Meg’s place. We were pleasantly surprised at how many restaurants we could walk to from this location. Previously, we’ve stayed at places across the river but, after staying here, we felt that this location is just as good for walking to restaurants. Also, we enjoyed walking to the Newport market for groceries. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in. Our adult son stayed in the detached house which he enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.
