Our city loves dogs! And most of our properties are dog-friendly. Please check the listing details to confirm. Dog-friendly properties allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs per reservation with a pet fee. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s), any dog-related damage, and agree to not leave their dog(s) incessantly barking. No cats allowed. *Service animals welcome, no fee applies

What is your cancellation policy?

For stays under 30 days: You may receive a 100% refund if you cancel your stay 14 or more days prior to your check in date. If you cancel 7-13 days prior to your check in date, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations less than 7 days before check in receives no refund. No refunds outside of our cancellation policy will be honored, even for adverse weather or fire-season related reasons. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect your investment.

I'm bringing an infant. Do you offer any baby gear for my stay?

Yes! As parents ourselves, we know how much STUFF is needed when traveling with a baby. For that reason, we offer the following to be set up in the home for you, free of charge: Pack n' play with flat sheet, highchair, baby monitor, sound machine/night light. Please note that these must be requested in advance and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Are events allowed in your homes?

Typically, no. Most of our homes are in close-knit neighborhoods where loud music and noise is not welcomed. There may be exceptions (with advanced approval) if you are hosting a dinner or small gathering with guests outside of your reservation count. Just please communicate with us so we know what to expect that is outside of the norm! All Guests staying in Bend are required by the city to follow Good Neighbor Guidelines: 1. 24-Hour Contact Information. If at any time you have concerns about your stay or in regards to your neighbors, please call the 24-hour contact number listed in the rental lease agreement or posted in the unit. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. 2. General Respect for Neighbors. Be friendly, courteous, and treat your neighbors like you want to be treated. Respect your neighbors and their property. 3. Noise. Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property, especially after 10 p.m. 4. Maintenance of Property. Be sure to pick up after yourself and keep the property clean, presentable and free of trash. 5. Garbage Disposal. Place trash and recycling containers at the appropriate place and time for pickup. Return trash and recycling containers to the designated location within 12 hours after pickup. Cigarette butts should be properly extinguished and disposed of in the garbage. 6. Parking & Traffic Safety. Refer to the parking diagram posted in the unit and park on-site whenever possible. Do not park on lawns or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing. 7. Pets. Promptly clean-up after your pets. Prevent excessive and prolonged barking, and keep pets from roaming the neighborhood. Control aggressive pets, and be sure to abide by the local leash laws. Store pet food indoors and in a secure container to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pest problems. 8. Tenant/Guest Responsibility. Approved guests and visitors are expected to follow the Good Neighbor Guidelines. Be sure to read your rental agreement for additional terms and restrictions which may include consequences for violating the Good Neighbor Guidelines.

Dani Scott, Operations Manager

Dani joined Sojourn Homes in early 2024 after a stellar 20+ year career in the mortgage industry. She brings with her a deep knowledge of customer satisfaction, organization, and management. Dani is a very creative person, and any house she touches is organized and prepared in a beautiful, thoughtful, and purposeful way which guests have greatly appreciated. She has an incredible eye for tidiness and cleanliness, and is truly one of the nicest (and funniest) people you'll ever meet! Dani is always thinking of ways to make guest stays more memorable and is an excellent communicator with the whole Sojourn team. She loves to spend time with her husband Dan and their three children exploring lakes, taking road trips, going to craft markets, and playing in Bend!

Meg Putnam, Founder and CEO

Meg has always had a passion for helping people and for beautiful homes! But combining the two into a sustainable career took some patience and effort. After a 14-year career in healthcare management, she transitioned into the real estate world full time after building a small portfolio of vacation homes, long term rentals, and live-in flips during her afterhours since 2009. Sojourn Homes was then born in June 2021 from a need for high quality vacation rental management with an honest and dependable team. Meg also offers home design services and is constantly on the hunt for houses that need some love! She loves to spend time with her husband Jeff and their three children hiking, swimming, skiing, and camping in the PNW.

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. The host was very friendly and responsive. The place was comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. Instructions were clear. This Airbnb was very clean (we really appreciated that!) and well managed. A small note about the location though - it is right behind a gym with loud bass starting at 6:15am, which can be disruptive.

We had such a lovely weeklong trip to Sunriver. This cabin is truly cozy and special. I stay at a lot of hotels/accommodations and can say that this place is squeaky clean. We felt so comfortable the moment we walked in. Meg was super responsive. Our dogs loved the place as well. We loved the hot tub!!! The deck is absolutely perfect. The cabin is located in a great location close to the walking/bike paths and the village grocery and shops. We are already planning our trip for next year! Thank you, Meg!

Our stay at the Kingston House was everything we could have asked for! The house was quiet and private. The location was amazing. We were able to walk to great restaurants and the grocery store. We loved taking the bikes for a ride and the hot tub was very relaxing! Not to mention, the kitchen was very thoughtfully outfitted and well-organized. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a short but great stay for one night at Meg‘s place after a day of skiing at Bachelor! The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after being outside all day, and the home was perfect. Everything was exactly as described, and the neighborhood was very quiet, easy to find parking, and close to many different spots in downtown Bend. We loved being able to walk to dinner at Crux! Meg was super responsive and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Bend!
