About Us

Sojourn Homes LLC is a locally-based, women-owned, full-service vacation property management company located in beautiful Bend, Oregon. We have over 13 years of experience in hosting successful guest stays with exceptionally high guest satisfaction. Welcoming guests back year after year to create memories with their loved ones is one of the best parts of the job! Interested in hiring us to manage your STR? Dani Scott, Operations Manager

Dani joined Sojourn Homes in early 2024 after a stellar 20+ year career in the mortgage industry. She brings with her a deep knowledge of customer satisfaction, organization, and management. Dani is a very creative person, and any house she touches is organized and prepared in a beautiful, thoughtful, and purposeful way which guests have greatly appreciated. She has an incredible eye for tidiness and cleanliness, and is truly one of the nicest (and funniest) people you'll ever meet! Dani is always thinking of ways to make guest stays more memorable and is an excellent communicator with the whole Sojourn team. She loves to spend time with her husband Dan and their three children exploring lakes, taking road trips, going to craft markets, and playing in Bend!

Meg Putnam, Founder and CEO

Meg has always had a passion for helping people and for beautiful homes! But combining the two into a sustainable career took some patience and effort. After a 14-year career in healthcare management, she transitioned into the real estate world full time after building a small portfolio of vacation homes, long term rentals, and live-in flips during her afterhours since 2009. Sojourn Homes was then born in June 2021 from a need for high quality vacation rental management with an honest and dependable team. Meg also offers home design services and is constantly on the hunt for houses that need some love! She loves to spend time with her husband Jeff and their two children hiking, swimming, skiing, and camping in the PNW.

Nice and comfortable home in a great neighborhood. There was plenty you could walk to such as restaurants, a brewery, wine tasting rooms, coffee shops and even a big market. Relaxing vibes all around and we enjoyed the dart board very much. Lovely backyard with a propane grill, hammock, hot tub and a couple bicycles to ride around town. Meg was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again in the future if available and possible.

This was a lovely home in Bend. The place was spotless and as described! If coming back to Bend I would not stay here again, the home had no warmth or soul? You could tell no one “actually” lived there, and was also evident by the little things such as no closet in one bedroom, unable to open a drawer unless the dishwasher was open, etc. overall good Airbnb, but nothing surprising, creative or makes me want to go back. The town of Bend is lovely!!

We were hoping to stay a little closer to Bend, but glad we picked this place! It's about 12 minutes to Bend were there are stores, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. There were trails close to the house for hiking and biking. Very clean newer home that is well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped. Only very minor issues of note are the kitchen knives were dull (should have brought mine) and the master bed in the main floor was a bit high for my 95 year old mom. So had to use the other bedroom on the main floor. Would definitely go back!

This was a great location, walking distance to a fantastic market, food carts, Old Bend, the Box Factory and more! The house was a charming bungalow that had everything we needed for our stay, including a washer/dryer, remodeled bathrooms, and super private hot tub. Meg was super responsive, and we loved the historic bungalows neighborhood. Would definitely recommend staying here!
