Hey There! I'm Meg and I've been blissfully hosting guests in our homes for over 14 years! My family and I live in the most beautiful (and not so secret) town of Bend, Oregon. It is truly an outdoor lover's paradise and a safe place to raise our family. Between the warm community of people, the stunning nature at our backdoor, and the impressive number of events around town, it's no surprise that Bend has become a prime vacation destination.

Sojourn Homes was founded on the premise of kindness and compassion: to treat others how we want to be treated, and to HOST others how we would want to be hosted! We refuse to compromise on quality as you'll see in our guest reviews. We've been fortunate enough to host the most wonderful people from all different backgrounds and share our small slice of paradise with them. Are you properties pet-friendly?
Our city loves dogs! And most of our properties are dog-friendly. Please check the listing details to confirm. Dog-friendly properties allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs per reservation with a pet fee. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s), any dog-related damage, and agree to not leave their dog(s) incessantly barking. No cats allowed. *Service animals welcome, no fee applies

What is your cancellation policy?
For stays under 30 days: You may receive a 100% refund if you cancel your stay 14 or more days prior to your check in date. If you cancel 7-13 days prior to your check in date, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations less than 7 days before check in receives no refund. No refunds outside of our cancellation policy will be honored, even for adverse weather or fire-season related reasons. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect your investment.

I'm bringing an infant. Do you offer any baby gear for my stay?
Yes! As parents ourselves, we know how much STUFF is needed when traveling with a baby. For that reason, we offer the following to be set up in the home for you: Pack n' play with flat sheet, highchair, baby monitor, sound machine/night light. Please note that these must be requested in advance through your guest portal and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Are events allowed in your homes?
Typically, no. Most of our homes are in close-knit neighborhoods where loud music and noise is not welcomed. There may be exceptions (with advanced approval) if you are hosting a dinner or small gathering with guests outside of your reservation count. Just please communicate with us so we know what to expect that is outside of the norm! All Guests staying in Bend are required by the city to follow Good Neighbor Guidelines: 1. 24-Hour Contact Information. If at any time you have concerns about your stay or in regards to your neighbors, please call the 24-hour contact number listed in the rental lease agreement or posted in the unit. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. 2. General Respect for Neighbors. Be friendly, courteous, and treat your neighbors like you want to be treated. Respect your neighbors and their property. 3. Noise. Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property, especially after 10 p.m. 4. Maintenance of Property. Be sure to pick up after yourself and keep the property clean, presentable and free of trash. 5. Garbage Disposal. Place trash and recycling containers at the appropriate place and time for pickup. Return trash and recycling containers to the designated location within 12 hours after pickup. Cigarette butts should be properly extinguished and disposed of in the garbage. 6. Parking & Traffic Safety. Refer to the parking diagram posted in the unit and park on-site whenever possible. Do not park on lawns or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing. 7. Pets. Promptly clean-up after your pets. Prevent excessive and prolonged barking, and keep pets from roaming the neighborhood. Control aggressive pets, and be sure to abide by the local leash laws. Store pet food indoors and in a secure container to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pest problems. 8. Tenant/Guest Responsibility. Approved guests and visitors are expected to follow the Good Neighbor Guidelines. Be sure to read your rental agreement for additional terms and restrictions which may include consequences for violating the Good Neighbor Guidelines.

LOVE STAYING HERE

This place is a great Airbnb. The hot tub and cold plunge were fantastic but the sauna is quite small and the heaters feel as though they’re cooking your back when you sit down 😂 but I really appreciated these extra amenities after long hikes. We really loved the tv and sound set up as well; Sonos speakers everywhere! Unlocking the front door took a little bit of struggling but we managed to work it out without outside help. We also felt the blankets in the guest bedroom in particular were not very good quality. Lastly, we felt the temperature of the house is a little tough to control and tends to run the house cold. Meg is a great, responsive host even after I lost an item at the Airbnb. Overall, the stay was somewhere between 4 and 5 stars - but I rounded up to 5 because the hosts are kind, professional people. The house was immaculate! The kitchen was well stocked. We were able to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and town with a 5 year old and a baby in a stroller with ease. We enjoyed the porch swing every morning. Totally recommend this property.

We had a group of 5 staying in this home for the USAmTour National Championships at Sunriver. We couldn't have picked a nicer home for our stay. This home was pure LUXURY! All of the furniture, beds, linens, pillows, kitchen ware, appliances, etc were over the top NICE!! Location was so peaceful and quiet.We were very comfortable and will remember this trip and location for many years to come. MEG and her team were very responsive and provided top notch service from prearrival questions all the way to check out. Five Stars for Sure!! thank you again!

Stylish ranch retreat with hot tub, fire pit, and designer kitchen

Had a wonderful stay at Meg's place. It was so well-equipped that we didn't need to bring or prepare anything ourselves. The location was fantastic — within walking distance of great parks, cafes, restaurants, and breweries, and downtown Bend was just a 5-minute drive away. The place itself was clean and well-soundproofed, so it felt quiet and peaceful. The grill and fire pit were great to have, and the sauna and cold plunge were spotless and easy to use. We'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Bend. Highly recommend!
