Welcome to our sweet historic bungalow just steps from everything FUN in Bend! This home sits on a quiet street and neighbors are friendly. Kick back and enjoy a beverage on the adirondak chairs!
The main living room offers comfortable seating, a remote-controlled gas fireplace, brochures for things to do around Bend, and a large flat screen smart TV with cable and access to login to any apps you have.
The front bedroom has a queen bed with new memory foam mattress by Tuft and Needle, a bookcase with books and games, and a closet that houses and extra rollaway twin bed for an extra guest (small adult or child)
We added a second full bathroom in 2023 that has high-end, period-specific touches. We offer towels, soaps, and paper goods.

Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hey There! I'm Meg and I've been blissfully hosting guests in our homes for over 14 years! My family and I live in the most beautiful (and not so secret) town of Bend, Oregon. It is truly an outdoor lover's paradise and a safe place to raise our family. Between the warm community of people, the stunning nature at our backdoor, and the impressive number of events around town, it's no surprise that Bend has become a prime vacation destination.

 

Sojourn Homes was founded on the premise of kindness and compassion: to treat others how we want to be treated, and to HOST others how we would want to be hosted! We refuse to compromise on quality as you'll see in our guest reviews. We've been fortunate enough to host the most wonderful people from all different backgrounds and share our small slice of paradise with them. We have now opened up our business to manage for other STR owners and hope to preserve what makes Bend special. Thank you for supporting local business!

Are you properties pet-friendly?
Our city loves dogs! And most of our properties are dog-friendly. Please check the listing details to confirm. Dog-friendly properties allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs per reservation with a pet fee. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s), any dog-related damage, and agree to not leave their dog(s) incessantly barking. No cats allowed. *Service animals welcome, no fee applies
What is your cancellation policy?
For stays under 30 days: You may receive a 100% refund if you cancel your stay 14 or more days prior to your check in date. If you cancel 7-13 days prior to your check in date, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations less than 7 days before check in receives no refund. No refunds outside of our cancellation policy will be honored, even for adverse weather or fire-season related reasons. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect your investment.
I'm bringing an infant. Do you offer any baby gear for my stay?
Yes! As parents ourselves, we know how much STUFF is needed when traveling with a baby. For that reason, we offer the following to be set up in the home for you: Pack n' play with flat sheet, highchair, baby monitor, sound machine/night light. Please note that these must be requested in advance through your guest portal and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Are events allowed in your homes?
Typically, no. Most of our homes are in close-knit neighborhoods where loud music and noise is not welcomed. There may be exceptions (with advanced approval) if you are hosting a dinner or small gathering with guests outside of your reservation count. Just please communicate with us so we know what to expect that is outside of the norm! All Guests staying in Bend are required by the city to follow Good Neighbor Guidelines: 1. 24-Hour Contact Information. If at any time you have concerns about your stay or in regards to your neighbors, please call the 24-hour contact number listed in the rental lease agreement or posted in the unit. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. 2. General Respect for Neighbors. Be friendly, courteous, and treat your neighbors like you want to be treated. Respect your neighbors and their property. 3. Noise. Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property, especially after 10 p.m. 4. Maintenance of Property. Be sure to pick up after yourself and keep the property clean, presentable and free of trash. 5. Garbage Disposal. Place trash and recycling containers at the appropriate place and time for pickup. Return trash and recycling containers to the designated location within 12 hours after pickup. Cigarette butts should be properly extinguished and disposed of in the garbage. 6. Parking & Traffic Safety. Refer to the parking diagram posted in the unit and park on-site whenever possible. Do not park on lawns or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing. 7. Pets. Promptly clean-up after your pets. Prevent excessive and prolonged barking, and keep pets from roaming the neighborhood. Control aggressive pets, and be sure to abide by the local leash laws. Store pet food indoors and in a secure container to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pest problems. 8. Tenant/Guest Responsibility. Approved guests and visitors are expected to follow the Good Neighbor Guidelines. Be sure to read your rental agreement for additional terms and restrictions which may include consequences for violating the Good Neighbor Guidelines.

The beautiful home is located in the Westside near coffee shops and breweries and a very nice/fancy super market. (Costco/Trader Joe's are 11 min north.) Its superspacious, comfy sofa/chairs, big dining room table and bench, big TV, and the home has really wide stairs! (Do note there are lots of stairs as its a 3-story home!) Everything was super comfortable and well maintained, and everything is well stocked. Almost every kitchen item you could need is provided for - included a hand mixer, mixing bowls, pots, pans, its all there. Even storage containers! The driveway is supersteep so I scratched our Yamaha bike hitch several times going up and down - so you have to angle your car well to void doing that. Also the double garage is superspacious but if you have a rooftop rack, you'll have to take it off but I could drive inside with my 4-bike rack loaded. Super-recommend! Maybe my favorite airbnb ever! And Meg was superresponsive! Thank you!!!

We had an amazing stay in Bend. The home is beautifully designed—super modern yet still incredibly cozy and welcoming. It strikes that rare balance of feeling pristine while also being comfortable and homey. The location was a huge plus. There’s so much to do within a five-minute walk, including great spots to eat and explore, and it’s an easy walk to grocery stores as well. Downtown is a bit farther, but still very walkable and absolutely worth it. Meg was fantastic—responsive, thoughtful, and really helpful throughout our stay. She even set up a pack and play for our baby ahead of time, which made things so much easier for us. The kitchen was also very well-equipped, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Overall, a wonderful place to stay—we’d absolutely come back.

We had the most lovely retreat. The setting was fantastic. The location was central, but a peaceful woodsy retreat. Meg was so easy to work with and so responsive and helpful. Went above and beyond providing information. Activities. The house was charming, and I love the outdoor setting, which was so great for the dogs. The beds were comfortable in rooms and bathrooms very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub in the deck as we were blessed with the combination of spring snow and sunshine, allowing us to use all aspects of the house. My family had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Appreciated that the house had bikes and was right on a walking trail. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful day. 5 stars!

Absolutely loved this house, especially while traveling with our kids.. they enjoyed playing so much in the private backyard and hanging in the hot tub it was hard to pull them away to go on hikes and such. Well stocked kitchen. Great outdoor set up for grilling and meals outside, including a large outdoor music speaker. We really enjoyed our stay! Also there’s a fabulous organic grocery store only 5 minutes away. We’d love to return on future trips to visit Bend!

This house made us feel right at home in Bend, OR. It is like Meg knew exactly what a family would need during their stay to have an amazing experience. The kitchen is super well stocked and the house had everything else our family of 5 with 3 young kids would need. We biked or walked everywhere we wanted to go during our short stay. We brought our own bikes but they have two available in the back shed for guests! The hot tub was lovely and well maintained. Overall, a great stay and we plan to be back in the future!
