Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hey There! I'm Meg and I've been blissfully hosting guests in our homes for over 14 years! My family and I live in the most beautiful (and not so secret) town of Bend, Oregon. It is truly an outdoor lover's paradise and a safe place to raise our family. Between the warm community of people, the stunning nature at our backdoor, and the impressive number of events around town, it's no surprise that Bend has become a prime vacation destination.

 

Sojourn Homes was founded on the premise of kindness and compassion: to treat others how we want to be treated, and to HOST others how we would want to be hosted! We refuse to compromise on quality as you'll see in our guest reviews. We've been fortunate enough to host the most wonderful people from all different backgrounds and share our small slice of paradise with them. We have now opened up our business to manage for other STR owners and hope to preserve what makes Bend special. Thank you for supporting local business!

Are you properties pet-friendly?
Our city loves dogs! And most of our properties are dog-friendly. Please check the listing details to confirm. Dog-friendly properties allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs per reservation with a pet fee. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s), any dog-related damage, and agree to not leave their dog(s) incessantly barking. No cats allowed. *Service animals welcome, no fee applies
What is your cancellation policy?
You may receive a 100% refund if you cancel your stay 14 or more days prior to your check in date. If you cancel 7-13 days prior to your check in date, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations less than 7 days before check in receives no refund. No refunds outside of our cancellation policy will be honored, even for adverse weather or fire-season related reasons. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect your investment.
I'm bringing an infant. Do you offer any baby gear for my stay?
Yes! As parents ourselves, we know how much STUFF is needed when traveling with a baby. For that reason, we offer the following to be set up in the home for you, free of charge: Pack n' play with flat sheet, highchair, baby monitor, sound machine/night light. Please note that these must be requested in advance and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Are events allowed in your homes?
Typically, no. Most of our homes are in close-knit neighborhoods where loud music and noise is not welcomed. There may be exceptions (with advanced approval) if you are hosting a dinner or small gathering with guests outside of your reservation count. Just please communicate with us so we know what to expect that is outside of the norm!
Do you accept long stays?
We specialize in short term rentals which fall under "lodging" and allow stays that are 29 days or less. You'll see that we do have weekly discounts if you do book for 7 days or more!

Nice and comfortable home in a great neighborhood. There was plenty you could walk to such as restaurants, a brewery, wine tasting rooms, coffee shops and even a big market. Relaxing vibes all around and we enjoyed the dart board very much. Lovely backyard with a propane grill, hammock, hot tub and a couple bicycles to ride around town. Meg was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again in the future if available and possible.

Loved this spot, excellently maintained and set up airbnb, we have two small children (1 & 2.5 yrs) and this was great with them. Walking distance to restaurants, a nice park. It was a lovely stay.

This place was wonderful. Location was just right and in close proximity to everything we did. Meg was always responsive and everything was well taken care of. As we were traveling with little ones, Meg was also able to accommodate us with the baby gear that we needed. This was a lovely home in Bend. The place was spotless and as described! If coming back to Bend I would not stay here again, the home had no warmth or soul? You could tell no one “actually” lived there, and was also evident by the little things such as no closet in one bedroom, unable to open a drawer unless the dishwasher was open, etc. overall good Airbnb, but nothing surprising, creative or makes me want to go back. The town of Bend is lovely!!

We were hoping to stay a little closer to Bend, but glad we picked this place! It's about 12 minutes to Bend were there are stores, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. There were trails close to the house for hiking and biking. Very clean newer home that is well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped. Only very minor issues of note are the kitchen knives were dull (should have brought mine) and the master bed in the main floor was a bit high for my 95 year old mom. So had to use the other bedroom on the main floor. Would definitely go back!

This was a great location, walking distance to a fantastic market, food carts, Old Bend, the Box Factory and more! The house was a charming bungalow that had everything we needed for our stay, including a washer/dryer, remodeled bathrooms, and super private hot tub. Meg was super responsive, and we loved the historic bungalows neighborhood. Would definitely recommend staying here!
